Wide Reciever Sits
1.Julian Edelman
Although Edelman had a great start to the season he has lost huge fantasy stock in my opinion. Rob Gronkowski is Tom Brady's favorite target in the offense. Last week we saw a healthy Gronk which means a we also see a decline in Edelman's numbers. Against the Bills Sit him he will not be targeted as much and there are better options out there.
2.Desean Jackson
Listen Desean is the classic feast or famine wide receiver. Even though he is going up against a banged up Arizon D do not start him. Jackson has yet to have two big back to back weeks. He is on the road with Kirk Cousins and I think he is a risky flex option and if you can trade him high I would say do it. Sit Jackson he is not worth the risk.
3.Eric Decker
Not to say that Eric Decker is not a talented guy but I think he is a solid receiver at best that looked great as of a product of Peyton Manning. I think you could have Jerry Rice on the field for the Jets and still have a bad game. Geno Smith and Michael Vick are not trustworthy quarterbacks and Eric Decker on the Jets is mediocre. Do not play Eric Decker he is injured and has been sucked into the bad luck of the New York Jets.
4. Terrance Williams
Terrance Williams is a good spot starter or flex option for weeks other than this. The legion of boom is gonna cover these wide receivers like white on rice. Terrance Williams is touchdown dependent and going against the Seahawks I would say that is a definite Sit.
Please Comment Questions or if you disagree or agree with me

Admittedly biased Jets fan here, who vehemently disagrees with you about Decker. Does catching bombs from Peyton all season inflate your value? For suresies. Are you, and many pundits, using this as an excuse to poo poo the handsome hubby of Jessie James? Lemme pour you a glass of YUP.
ReplyDeleteThe man had a distinguished college career, and was on track for a possible Heisman nod, before he sprained his foot. That injury made him drop on draft boards, and made most armchair quarterbacks underestimate his skill and value.
He's a skilled receiver, who may never be a top ten WR - but is an easy WR1 (low end) or a strong WR2. He's better than the credit he's given. Hamstrings take a while to recover from ... but he's the best weapon on NYJ, and whomever is flinging the pigskin for Gang Green is going to give him his yards, eventually (especially if they're playing catch up, as they likely will be).
I'm not starting Decker this week, but I know he'll be giving me fantasy production as the season ensues. I hope you give him his due, too.
trent richarsson was also great in college so that fact is kind of skewed. Decker I think will have 3 good weeks tops which i call a flex option not a great fantasy wideout. I respect your opinion but disagree with it. Hopefully you will prove me wrong
